Dos Palmas Island Resort and Spa is a private beach resort that is located in Honda Bay, northeast of Puerto Princesa which is the capital of Palawan, Philippines. There are several direct flights from Manila to Puerto Princesa. This beach resort provides air-con bus transportation from the capital to Sta. Lourdes Wharf.
From the wharf, a ferry will bring the guests to the beach resort location. It may take a little while to get there but it is worth the experience as there are beautiful sites along the way. During the trip, the green rice fields, mountains, native houses, coconut trees, charming smiles of the locals and a nice view of the sea can be seen.
Accommodations include bay cottages located in the shallow waters and beach villas on the sand. Both types of accommodations are equipped with basic modern amenities, such as air-conditioning and IDD telephone, cable television and internet access. There are water activities available at the resort for those who seek adventure. Surprisingly, there is a separate spa that is a perfect place for rest and relaxation.
The spa is very conducive for rejuvenation. Since it is purposely apart from the cottages and beach villas, it is more peaceful and relaxing.
